We held an exhibition at our house the past two weekends, here are some pics:

As inspiration to those wanting to sell their paintings, we sold just under $2000 worth of artworks over the 4 days O0

Excellent sales, Dennis and Nolan.  I bet those huge slippahs were a big hit.  They would be in Hawaii.

Love the chairs!

:heeha: Congratulations to my Clark Boys!!!   :yippee:   What fun to have a place to showcase and sell your works... and not have to leave home!  ;D Perhaps one day soon...

Mea, took me a second to look for 'slippahs', I thought that was a slang for slippers!  :2funny:   We always called them thongs, North Americans call them flip flops. What do you call them Nolan? They look really fun and would sell very well in the Caribbean. Perhaps a few surf boards to go with those thongs!  ;)

Val, we also knew the "slippahs" as flip flops in South Africa and thongs in Canada.  Would be interesting to hear what the New Zealanders and Australians call them.

Jandals is the correct spelling.

I made them from MDF. I drew the shape on the computer, vinyl cut the shape to form a stencil, cut them out with a jigsaw, sanded smooth and neat, then did an acrylic pour on them. They are then finished off with straps and varnish

Nolan, you've a fine steady hand with a jigsaw.  O0    Quite intrigued by this pouring technique.... I still have those flourescent coloured acrylics from Grenada!  :heeha:       :2funny:

What a clever process, Nolan! I'd never trust myself around a jigsaw!!
