Aloha from Blue Hawaii,
So happy to be connected again!
Some of you know Emily’s art work from when she came to Paint Basket as a youngster.  Well, now she’s 16 going on 17, still enjoys art (mostly watercolor), has visited prospective colleges on the mainland U.S. during her spring break, and in this recent photo, ready to leave home for her high school junior prom. This Friday she will be one of the students in her junior class receiving an award for academic achievement.  So she’s not only a beautiful child, but smart, too! She’s my youngest granddaughter.  ~Nana Liz

 :thankyou: DENNIS!
I especially posted her photo for you and Nolan to see her. She towers over me now and is soon to get her driver's license!  She is the youngest GRANDDAUGHTER  of my 7 grandchildren!!! Next to you Dennis, I am probably the most senior member on Paint Basket.  ::)  -Nana Liz

   YAY FOR YOU, DENNIS!!!

I may not catch up with your 8 greatgrandchildren, but I have two granddaughters getting married within this next year, one in August and Emily’s sister next summer!  My youngest daughter is shorter than me and everyone in the family is taller than us! The two girls are getting married to guys about 6’ so I think the next generation will be tall kids.  How tall is the one taller than you? ~Liz

Liz, our Emily is beyond lovely. Such a beautiful young woman. So pleased to hear she still enjoys her w/c (no bias there  ), such a clever girl!  ::)
Congratulations to Emily on her achievements, wishing her all the best in all of her future endeavours.   :-*

Liz, you can be a very proud Grandma/Nana for Emily is beautiful and as you say, smart too.  My eldest granddaughter is 15 and yes, we are all getting up in age.  Would be interesting to know who is the oldest of all our members for many of us are in our 70's.  Anyway, wishing Emily, you and all your family God's blessings.
