Thanks, Dennis. Yes, sometimes mistakes are the best teachers.
Thanks, Gita. So happy to hear you have full VIP access. So many lessons to choose from.
Thanks, Steve. That splatter effect is fun.

OK, I gave up trying to salvage the left side of the painting -- the lady finally toppled over.
So check out what I did with the right side of the painting.

Now I have a beautiful 5" x 7" painting to give to my friend who cares for the monk seals on the North Shore of Oahu!
The seal's face is not perfect but I hope no one notices.
(Don't tell!)

Nice save of the original painting! It's interesting how the perspective changed based on the difference in size of the subjects of interest.

Thanks, KathyS, Steve, and Denise.
That particular monk seal appears on the beach near my house at least once a year. He satys a day or two then takes off.

Great job Mea!
Perhaps since I also seem to end up with somewhat disagreeable people in my paintings.... I should follow you lead and use animals instead.
Monkeys it is!!!
Monkey class please Dennis!

Gita,
Thanks so much. Hope the seal did not swallow the toppled lady!

Mea you are a genius! Now I understand when you said it was nothing like the original.
Hope she did not break her hip.

I will remember that when I don't like part of a painting.
