Hi All,

Have been missing Dennis's lessons and so I found this one on youtube and gave it a go. I must confess i didnt do the wax resist or the sponging as i was just keen to enjoy the painting along with Mr. D. I tried this lesson when I first started and never posted it because it was just awful. I like the result of my attempt although wouldve like a touch more light on the headlands highlight side. I also didnt put the figures in or the bird. I just liked it as is...

Miss you Dennis and hope you are enjoying your me time!

Take Care PBers!

Trev, I really like the way you have done this painting. Try and emulate this style in your other paintings as it has a very nice freshness about it. Well done    Yes, I'm enjoying the "me time". The only problem is I have a new boss (no names, no pack-drill) who will not always let off the hook  :o I still have my glass eye placed near the computer screen to watch what is going on in the Forum  :2funny:

Lol thanks for the feedback Dennis, Yes I will try take the freshness into my paintings as I do have a tendency to overwork things and get a bit muddy. Glad you are enjoying your me time  :) Take care...
