This is a mixed media piece I made for an upcoming show I'm in. Mixed media pieces sell well. I used Oils for the gal and the background is acrylics, watercolor crayons, inks, decorative paper and more! I decided to use Oils for the gals 1. as a selling feature 2. I do not like acrylics that much 3. I tried my usual go to crayons and just bombed out with them! LOL The one thing bad about using the Oils is you can not put anything on top of them but more Oils. But it truly is a Mixed Media Piece LOL. I plan to create a lot more whimsy gals and plain mixed media pieces for the show. They seem to be my bread and butter and then my fine art if that sells is a nice bonus!I used masonite as my substrate primed with 3 layers of white acrylics.

I love it! I would be very surprised if this doesn't sell.

Robynann, Wishing you much success with the Show.  Your mixed media painting is very good.  I love the lady's expression on her face.
