...About 5 hours today
The moment you find yourself mostly satisfied with a painting and think you'll "just quickly" do this or that, that's the moment to stop completely. Take the painting off your easel and put it aside for at least 24 hours, then reassess whether it really needs that tweak.

Strange, the colours looked dull until I enlarged the painting, then.... POP!!!The sky colours are vibrant and dramatic. Nicely done Pat.  :clap: :clap: :clap:

Val, i started reading your scentence about being dull...............whew...i thought DARN...........but read the rest of it...good.   Yes, i see that also about the difference and have seen that many times when i post something.
The moment you find yourself mostly satisfied with a painting and think you'll "just quickly" do this or that, that's the moment to stop completely. Take the painting off your easel and put it aside for at least 24 hours, then reassess whether it really needs that tweak.
