Post your drawing for August 2018 Challenge here.

Show Us YOUR  STYLE !  Is it loose... realism... impressionistic... cubist??? Use your favoured way to paint/draw.  :heeha:
1/ Post only one drawing per person. Post only your finished drawing. If you need help, post it in the encourager section.

2/ Do your best to keep your composition as close as possible to the original Challenge photo. Please DO NOT make additions to the subject unless otherwise stated. We try to maintain a fair and equal field for all entries from beginner to advanced.
Feel free to use the subject photos in your own creation BUT place it in the Encourager section, NOT in the challenge. Thank you for your ongoing support of these challenges.

3/ Any SINGLE dry drawing medium may be used....Graphite, Coloured Pencil (lead), Charcoal, or Ink may be used. If it is not specifically listed, DON'T USE IT! If you are unsure, PM me directly.

4/ When posting your entry, please list type of pencils etc. used. Not mandatory, but appreciated as it may help someone with less experience.

5/ HAVE FUN !  :yippee:

Here is my little Sea Turtle.
Prismacolor colored pencils on drawing paper. Tools: Colorless blending pencil, sharp knife, oodles of erasers, white tissue to soften final glaze and... patience and perseverance.
For some reason the right side photographed lighter than the original drawing.  I tried photographing from various angles but no luck.

   Nicely done Maria.  I too had trouble photographing my turtle for the colours didn't come out quite as they are in real life but I could not do much about it.

:thankyou: for commenting on my drawing Patricia.  I notice that you also used Prismacolor pencils... maybe it is just a coincidence.

Maria, I have Faber Castell pencils as well but I find that the Prismacolor pencils are much softer and more to my liking.
