Thanks, Patricia, yes, it seems like a whole flock sitting.  Maybe I will try a bit of negative painting to define them a bit more and then change the name to "The Flock."

Mea I have just seen on the news that a hurricane is threatening Hawaii.  Please keep safe, my prayers are with you all at his terrifying time.

Another good one, Mea. Please stay safe. I live in North Carolina, and we are no strangers to hurricanes. They do demand respect. I foresee a hurricane painting in your future!

Thanks, Susan.  Loving the abstract stuff.  Not sure about a hurricane abstract.  May not want to remember it.

Thanks, Patricia.  Have made all the preparations I can make until we see exactly how close it will come.

I, too, see large parrots.  I love this.  You are becoming quite the abstract artist Mea.  Hope Lane takes a hike and doesn't cross your path.  Be safe.

Hurricane is moving VERY slowly, so nothing is happening here yet.

Oh Mea, both of these are great.  I love the dark value and the freedom of the pen strokes in the first and the broad brushstrokes in the birds.  I would have made total mud.
