After doing Dennis’s peony class, I decided to try something similar on my own. I feel pretty good about the way it turned out. There is so much to learn with watercolor.

The biggest challenge for me is I love to be in control. Watercolor forces me to give up that control.  :2funny:

I’m always open to suggestions for growth.  ;)

Kathy.

Your flower looks lovely.  Soft, delicate petals.

Thank you, Mea. I was hesitant to go back to watercolor but am so glad I did. There are so many mediums to enjoy.  :painting:

What a lovely, soft rose. I love the deep shadow that makes it pop.  :flowers:

Thank you, Susan. It was exciting to put to work the tips I’d learned the peony class. A bit scary too.  ;D

This is very beautiful, Kathy. What scared you in that lesson?  ;)
