I've been doing more outdoors painting lately and I'm always struggling to decide what to take along because it's heavy and awkward. I'd like to take my oils but then I'd have to take my French Easel. Too heavy. Plus you need a chair, canvas, paper towels. You probably know the drill!
As a result I have too decide to take watercolors or a simple acrylic setup. I do OK with thse but i'd REALLY like to take my oils.
Most paint outs here involved a walk of several hundred yards to get to a good spot.

Here's the answer!

The Artcomber combined chair and carrier.

When folded the large wheels are on the ground and the back of the chair acts as the handle. The bag on the back has enough room for a FULL BOX FRENCH EASEL!! The second pocket can easily hold a couple of canvases and a couple of rolls of paper towels.

I really lucked out and got it in Jerry's Artarama Black Friday sale for $72 instead of the regular $160 and free shipping too!!

Going to try it tomorrow for the first time!!

Brian

A friend gave me something similar that she bought on QVC.  Hope you have better luck.  Mine rusted out very quickly  (not surprising, I live by the ocean).  But, you should have better luck in the dry climate.

I'm looking for something that is lightweight and is a table/chair folding thing. Anyone seen one?
