Yesterday we were out with the Urban Sketchers and I introduced them to one of my places - a junk yard full of classic cars.
I drew until my arms nearly fell off.
One I drew in ink right there, the rest I did in pencil and inked them in at home.
I colored one in with colored pencil to see how it would look.

Thanks everyone, glad you like them!
Has anyone tried printing ink drawings onto watercolor paper and painting on it?

Brian, I think I am doing something like the reverse of that - gouache resist.

Painting gouache on watercolor paper, then covering it with black ink, then washing the ink off the gouache.  Here is an example.
