If someone can understand what you are going through it's probably me.

For the body to heal, it need all your energy and determination. Rest a lot and take care of you.

Better to heal slowly than not. You are in my prayer and I am sending you positive energy  :1hug: .

:heeha: Last year was last post.  ;D I have been neglecting this.

I decided to work on this while I study read first 2 courses on Landscapes.

For the hessian thing:
I decided to do it like the fabric fold study and once dry, will add textures.

 :thankyou: Nolan.

So finally here is my hessian painting. Phew! I need a drink  ;D .

Edit1: texture - took a lot of guessing and trial and error on my part ;D

I made the weave of burlap by starting row of horizontal rectangles using your bright brush. 2nd row, I place it between the first two rectangles. Kinda like the brick wall pattern. So when you got quite a set, the space between rectangles make a vertical rectangle. When making the pattern, follow the form/angle plane.

Color Shadow, I mix burnt umber and green. I lighten it using yellow and orange then added white as its lightest color. So I underpaint with shadow color, for the horizontal row of rectangles I use the slightly lighter mix of shadow color. Then I use the the lightest mix on vertical rectangles. BUT it depends on where the source of light is. Then I just adjust color mix as needed. I use white as the highlight, with the smallest round brush I got.

Hope this helps  :flowers:
