Nolan and I are participating in the Wanganui Artists Open Studios 2019 over two weekends. Last weekend I painted this in oils in between talking to the visitors. Tomorrow is the last weekend.

I wish I lived there.  I would have loved to go to the Open Studio.  Would be fun to talk to you and admire your work.  Nolan, too.

Feel the same Mea. I wish I has had the opportunity to see you paint live, Dennis!
BTW, you look energetic!

   Dennis, your Mallard duck is fantastic and I can just imagine how well Nolan's dogs were received because they are excellent too.   Like our other members, I wished I could have visited your Open Studio for Artists too.

Both weekends were great. Eight paintings were sold and the people were stunned by the Border Collie.
It didn't sell however, but as with every painting, the correct buyer with the correct need has to walk in the door. I am getting commission inquiries for other dog portraits, so those become indirect sales.
We have both also been invited to other exhibitions, etc. by gallery owners also following the Art Studio trail, so all in all a successful exhibition :yippee:

Great, Nolan. Sounds successful, especially with promise of future commissions and gallery showings.

    Congratulations to you and your Dad, Nolan on the successful show and so pleased that it has opened doors for further work.  I never doubted that everyone would be stunned by the Border Collie.  Great news.  :yippee:
