My daughter sees beautiful sunsets from her home 2 miles up on a mountain ridge, looking out toward the ocean.  Way below is a view of Waikiki and hotels along the beach.  Not signed yet if there are some small improvements that can be made.  It is going to Spokane with me in a couple of weeks for my granddaughter’s wedding gift. Thank you. ~Liz
Note: I already reworked the dark cloud on the right by breaking it up.  My in-house critic thought it looked like Diamond Head.

What a great gift for your granddaughter, Liz.

Hope all is well with you folks.  Haven't heard much from you lately!

I diffused the dark cloud somewhat and lightened mountain with some sunset reflection.  I did some highlights of trees in foreground. Acrylic always dries darker and some parts need adjusting or glazes.  I decided that instead of coming in for a landing, I had the plane taking off from the island! Do you see it?That would be me on it with the painting for Taylor, Emily’s sister.  I am so sad that soon Emily will be leaving for college on the mainland.  She will be 18 in August. ~Liz

    Liz what a wonderful gift for your granddaughter, something to be cherished forever. Yes, isn't it sad how quickly time flies and the children grow.  My eldest granddaughter is already learning to drive!!!! Where has the time gone??  Anyway, your painting is beautiful.
