I have been working on this little guy all week. The paper is from a pad called ‘paint on it’ it was a free sample. It has a tooth - its not bad - it was free - jury is out on it.
I made the mistake of taking the top page out, when i got down to work on the jacket i found there were indented diagonal lines which stop my plan of doing a tartan style pattern.
I wasn’t sure whether to add a background or not!

I don't think a background is required. The current colour works well as a complimentary background O0

Thankyou, i was going to play on a piece of rough paper to see best colour for background but i agree to leave well alone.

Practice piece #12

Worked on this durings the evenings this week, this is going to be for my christmas cards. Reference photo i believe cam from the facebook free reference group i belong too.  Paper is sketch paper , pencils were  Luminance . First time trying to do ice and winter sky.
