Hi,

as wanted to take my portrait skill to next level....
I have purchased David's bust from Amazon , as part live drawing practice.... I started drawing him  from all perspective as part of my portrait study journey.....

I will be posting drawing here  for your critical comments.

good start Cyril and a great idea :yippee: :yippee: :yippee:
What I suggest you do is post a photo of David from the same angle each time. That way we, and you, can spot the differences better in order to give constructive feedback. O0

 :heeha: Excellent idea Cyril.  O0
I think it is easier to draw from a 3D life figure than a flat photo. Great job so far. I like Nolan´s idea to post a photo from the same angle as your drawing.  Great work.

@ Nolan, yes  certainly!  Nice idea.

@ Val thanks for the comments , not sure regarding difficult level of drawing 2D w.r.t 3D ... But currently I enjoy drawing  & painting 3D life figures.. :yippee:

Cyril I´m a way behind you and so look forward to seeing your drawings. I learn a lot from seeing how you approach your value/shadings.  O0
So... keep drawing, I have still much to learn!   :cheering: :cheering: :cheering:
