Hi!  I saw these art challenges in the newsletter, and I have really been missing drawing, so I decided to give it a go.  My work in no way compares to what everyone else is doing, but I learned a lot and had fun with this challenge.

This is done with ball point pen on sketch paper, breaking my first pattern of sketching with pencil.

I used a pattern of wonky bricks for the fairy house and well, broken by the chimney and straight sides on the house, and straight lines for the wood on the well.

Continuing the fantasy theme, I added a large mushroom with peppermint dots, broken by the small dragon perched on it and the one peppermint with dragon scales.  The purple dragon has a scale pattern broken by his red horns and pointy red triangle tip of a tail.

I added a pattern of a red triangle on each object, which was broken by having two triangles incorporated into the spaceship.

I broke the fantasy objects theme by adding in a spaceship.

Well,  :welcome: back to drawing Mysti. I like your litle fun fantasy drawing.
I did a little catch up myself, after being away from drawing and painting for more then two years due to illness. And I too started with these challenges to get back.
I know you will have a great time and lots of fun with these little challenges, so...Just go on!!! :flowers:

Thank you so much Riya, Nolan, Jay J, and Bill.   This one really made me think a lot about what I was drawing.  It made it very interesting.

Riya, so glad you are back.  We can catch up together.   O0
