Hey Riya, your cat is sure spoilt   :2funny: :2funny:
Actually I love gouache colours. The colours are so brilliant. Your idea is very good. The sketch of the hand has come out well!
Cheers, Gita

I will miss you guys for the next couple of weeks, likely no internet connection and no time to do art.  But keep doing the weekly challenges... because I will catch up on your submissions when I return.

I was hoping to see what the Dec Monthly Challenge would be before leaving.  Maybe there is none this month and I miss the notice.

In any case, keep drawing/painting

Great you catching up Riya. Love your two submissions. Cute little kitten peeking out from under the door as well.  :)

:thankyou: Gita, for your nice comment. I hope that with a better brand of gouache I will love it more. I do love the colours, I made a nice small colourchart and I really like how the colours blend and how the paint reacts. But what I really dislike is the roughness of this brand. At least I hope it is because of this cheaper brand. When going over it with the black fineliner, it really scratches and makes my pen get blocked. It feels like there is sand inside it, but that would be the overload of fillers I presume.
I would love to try some much beter gouache, but with a very tiny budget, I dont have a income myself but get some pocketmoney, I have to watch what I do. And for this moment I love watercolours and I need to refill my pans and I would love to try a few new colours. So I hope to be able to buy some pans next week, and maybe I can look if they have some good but affordable gouach too.
What brand do you use, or what brand do you think is great but still affordable for a small budget?

:thankyou: Win. I had to smile at 'the kitten under the door'...that's a little mouse waiting for the one in Yana's bowl to come back with some food,  :) .
