Gita, for your nice comment. I hope that with a better brand of gouache I will love it more. I do love the colours, I made a nice small colourchart and I really like how the colours blend and how the paint reacts. But what I really dislike is the roughness of this brand. At least I hope it is because of this cheaper brand. When going over it with the black fineliner, it really scratches and makes my pen get blocked. It feels like there is sand inside it, but that would be the overload of fillers I presume.
I would love to try some much beter gouache, but with a very tiny budget, I dont have a income myself but get some pocketmoney, I have to watch what I do. And for this moment I love watercolours and I need to refill my pans and I would love to try a few new colours. So I hope to be able to buy some pans next week, and maybe I can look if they have some good but affordable gouach too.
What brand do you use, or what brand do you think is great but still affordable for a small budget?
