Nolan, Dennis,
Say I want to include a cie logo for non financial gain, say a friendly challenge like ink challenge for Inktober.

I can go take my own photograph, still a logo is a logo.  Would this impech copyright?

Thanks.

As far I know adding a logo into a scene as part of an artwork is covered by fair use. A good example of this is the Campbell's soup cans that Andy Warhol is famous for.

As long as the whole artwork is just the logo then you may find the company may not be happy.

Thank you Nolan.  It is for the Inkoct, so with a desclaimer that it is an educational essay... should be fine.

I would worry too much. You are not making money from the sketch so is basically free advertising for the company
