O my Gosh, this was a fun way to spend the day, Thanks Nolan & Dennis.
Considering I started out just experimenting on a bit of cardboard, on the outset I really wasn't holding much hope that a picture would form.
(I'm so glad you didn't limit this to just 2 tools Nolan, cos I just couldn't contain myself & just carried on with try one & nearly all.  :2funny:
So the Simulated covered nearly all ( This is the most I ever painted, so I just wanted to get a feel for the way the paint spread, Brushes & mixing up colours, which is a new experience) & for the Actual I used the Builders Filler, Tape, sandpaper, Impasto & Metallic Paint.

That is the way, Tracey - it is fun when you get totally absorbed in what you are doing and end up happy with the unexpected results.

Thank you Nolan, excellent tutorial again.  Since I do not paint with oil or acrylic, I did a watercolor and used bits of cotton which is adhered to my paper by masking fluid.  My real texture is the cotton on the dandelions and bits in the air and the other texture in the painting was done using kitchen paper over wet watercolor.
