I have a question Nolan, when you do sketches (painting, not drawing) do you use a smaller area that your usual 16x20" canvas?

Annie. This is on a small canvas. Off the top of my head I estimate 6"x4".

Birth of 'my' Galaxie.  I used some metallic paints, silver and gold.  Somehow it did not come out as I was expecting, but it was fun to use something different.

I was wondering why Nolan's painting seemed not to cover the canvas well.  Now I know... mine look the same.  It is very difficult to take a good photo with a black background and bright colors.
