Hi Soizick,
I just saw your work, welcome aboard.
You have made great progress since you start

If I had listen to my little inner voice when I started, I would have given up drawing.

The best advice, beside all the valuable technical ones, that Dennis gave me was:  to do my best, post it whether I thought it was good or no, and not to critique my own work but to let others do the critique.

I have learn much more following this advice, that I would have otherwise.  I also almost gave up WC because of my self critic... now I enjoy it so much.

Just slowly keep at it, you are doing well.  :yippee:
Cheers, Annie

Hi Soizick, Great to see a kindred beginner.  :1hug: I started a few months ago & going at my own pace, as I tend to forget some things & need to go back over past lessons to make sure I've included those things I've learnt at each stage into the new lesson.
I'm still refining the basic skills of hand positioning and the different pencil sharpenings.

I love seeing your drawings & found similar challenges with each lesson & end up doing some of them twice - the tiger & whiskers esp, & I feel confident that I will revisit attempting the tiger again - hopefully when I learn to use paint.
I'm loving the lessons, & support from others, & esp Nolan & Dennis and seeing others works & their journeys.
But esp loving what emerges from my page - no its not a picture of what my minds eye would like, but snippets of catching something that has a bit of depth that hopefully one day may develop into an overall picture of completeness.
