Gita, it is diluted acrylic paint. 

For my weekly challenges, I have a special sketchbook labelled as for multi-media.  So not good like canvas or WC paper, but it is good for my goal to keep up with simple but regular work.

Wow, brings me back to when my sons were young....Glad you thought of something for coherent...I am a blank...still researching.

My research brought me to something called coherent lines.  I think it has to do with digital imaging..what I read said the it was lines without all the "noise"   ....So here is my choherent line drawing:
