Hello!

As a beginner, I recently painted Early Morning Splendor.  To my surprise it came out quite well and I continue to receive many compliments.

I would love to paint Tuscan Landscape, however, the class is for "oil" painting.  Is it possible to paint this using acrylic?

Thank you!

First of  all,  :welcome:  to the paint Basket. I hope you enjoy the ride with our other wonderful members

Yes, you may paint it with acrylics as most of the techniques are the same as oils.

:bigwelcome: to the Paint Basket Alice :yippee: :yippee: :yippee:

The actual painting techniques between oil and acrylic are the same, just add water instead of medium to your paints O0 :gl:

PS - we would love to see your Early Morning Splendour painting so we can give you feedback. HERE are instructions on how to do it. If you need help, just ask I am happy to assist O0

I'm working on my second painting, Tuscan Landscape, and came to a halt.  My veranda didn't come out correctly and I don't know how to fix it.

First of all, is there a way to post my unfinished painting on this chat without it posting on the main page?  :help:

Please advise.

Thank you.  ;D

Alice an image uploaded will show on the home page of the forum for a short while until other photos have scrolled it off the screen - don't worry about that. It is normal and not a showcase of artworks.
Please do upload and post your in progress pics when you get stuck so that I can help you along the way O0
