Love the linen background.  I did not know gesso came in clear.  I was given end of a rool linen canvas to try, but the gesso on it is white.  So could not see the difference with gessoed canvas, and pay extra.  Know see the beauty of clear gessoed linen.

Thank you everyone.  I so appreciate the kind words and encouragement.  Living in Hawaii and raising orchids, they are one of my favorite things to paint.  Right now I am working my way through Nolan's course on Portraits (and loving it).  Been a while since I have done one so needed the instructions.  Mahalo for including me in the group.
