Colored Pencil Drawing - Dog

This is a colored pencil class I did online in preparation for a drawing I will be doing for my cousin. I love working with this medium. They are so portable and easy clean up.

I have begun my cousin’s pup, Lobo. I’m using Prismacolors pencils on Mi Teins paper. This is part of the initial layering. Though color pencil is time consuming I love the process. The building of layers is almost meditative to me. I have about 3 hours into this so far.
