Hello I am loving being a new silver member for online classes and painting basket but after spending many hours on the forum to learn how it works I am still having problems and wondered if any one can help.  I original filled out a profile and added a photo but this does not appear on the forum when I post and I am unable to find the original profile page. Also any photos I post are landscape and I cant find a way to rotate them to the right way either in post or my album in gallery. Also the emogies above don't work for me, I just get symbols or works when I click on one ie  :help:
kind regards Pat

Can start helping a bit:
- did you "safe" your profile after you entered it?
- photos needs to be rotated before you upload them, somewho if the come from a photo it can be tricky and you may have to redo it
-the emogies need a bland space before and after to display properly.

Start with these...
Cheers, Annie

also remember that your account at Online Art Lessons and here at Paint Basket are two different and separate accounts.
So if you add a photo at OAL the PB website knows nothing about it. You need to update your info at both websites if you want to use both.
The forum software is old and predates smart phones so it doesn't work well if you take a photo with your phone. If you do use your phone only take the photo in landscape mode. That way the photo will appear correct here.
When typing you don't actually see the emoji, you just see the code that will show the emoji. Also as Annie points out ensure there is a space before the beginning : and a space after the closing : of your emojis otherwise the system will just see it as words containing :'s  :D
