Painting Interesting Shadows

Nolan, this lesson was so good.  I always wondered what color to use when painting shadows.  Here is my painting for the challenge.  The camera is not kind to some of the colors.

I am struggling with this one.  They both look so busy to me.  Your painting help me see where to focus.  Now I also see that the unidentified object is a shower head 😆

Thank you so much Annie and Nolan.  Annie, that does look like a shower, but those blue lines are behind the building...I am not sure what they are either but I included them.

Now I am lost... what is the scene?   😩😩😩 

After seeing Mary Lou painting, I thought it was that stales where people change to go to the beach and then shower to remove sand/salt when leaving.
