Hi, just thought I should take the time to say thanks for this course, absolutely loving it.
I should have uploaded these as I went along, so sorry if you think I'm being a bit greedy now by uploading all of my efforts so far in one go. All comments good and bad gratefully received. Hope you all stay safe and well. :thankyou:

NEVER lose your dream  O0  My late father used to call me "Dennis the Dreamer". I've done well in life - and I still dream :2funny:

You have done a great job on the course, well done Badart :yippee: :yippee: :yippee:

Love your Noch Ness ;D

What I want you to work on is getting your dark values darker. I can see you are still a bit scared of going dark. Getting more darker values will add a lot of extra depth to your drawings O0

Looking forward to seeing the rest :heeha:

Thanks Nolan, I will try and get more contrast as you suggest, really enjoying the course. Have signed up to Dennis landscape course and looking forward to starting that when I finish this one. I have never drawn a thing in my life and I'm surprised to find you have managed to bring out something I never knew was there.

Dennis, it's a line from a Pink Floyd track which I liked, like you I still dream. If you want to listen to the track it's Comfortably Numb from the album The Wall. Can't listen to it without getting emotional, been listening to it for 40 years or more.

We all have the "talent" because art is a skill that can be learnt. Creativity takes a bit more practice O0

:heeha: Wow, you´re really off and running with the course so far! Yes you will find the ¨darks¨ will really bring out the dimension in your work. I was always too light when I first started.  :eyesclosed:   I found that by starting with the next darker pencil helped me bring out the darks a little easier. Now I seldom have any worries about being too dark.  O0

Here is my attempt at the squirrel, should have transferred him off my grid page first, but maybe I'll do him again

Great flicks :yippee: :yippee: :yippee:

Make the back darker so that there is a difference in tonal value between the sunlight front and the back which is in shadow O0
