Looking at the weekly challenge to come 'Leather', reminded me of my trip to Morocco in 2012. I really enjoyed working on this but I should have made it less detailed .... to cluttered .... tried cropping it but not good compositions. Should have had the guy walking into the picture.  It's here anyhow for your critique.

I really like the detail. It makes me feel as if I were there...minus the aroma!

I also like the details in this painting, Bill. I missed seeing this place when I visited Marocco.
Cheers, Gita

I like the painting and I am not sure why you find it too busy.  It is busy, but busy is good here.

If you wanted to highlight more the focal point; maybe you could increase the brilliance of the focal point and decrease the details in the background, and get the third guy to walk towards the center as you said...   but really it is really good

It reminds me of older war paintings that had many characters and many details, and that one could take a long time to look at.
Cheers, Annie
