I like the style you’ve applied in the last one, Gita.

Thanks Cath.. In fact, I am enjoying painting from real life objects, it’s such a different experience compared to painting from a photo.

Thanks Teresa, Cath..
actually it’s fun to draw from real life.. the fact that our eyes cannot differentiate pixels like a camera, makes us to concentrate more on values, depth, colours and forms. In fact, people around me are more attracted to these paintings of mine, interesting isn’t it? 😃

.... ..
actually it’s fun to draw from real life.....  😃

That is how I originally learnt to paint in water colours. Loosely, and one’s own interpretation, too, which is why I find it more a problem trying to ‘copy’ sthg.

.....  In fact, people around me are more attracted to these paintings of mine, interesting isn’t it? 😃

They can relate more to your rendition. ☺️

Eventhough, I think copying has its advantages, one can concentrate more on the painting process itself.
I am also very glad that Nolan and Dennis can teach us such valuable long distance lessons and classes.  It would have never been possible to learn so much and still keep on learning. I am so thankful for this.
