Hi Folks,
I’m finding it kinda weird trying to copy a classic painting and making the people come alive. But I love the dancers and the impressionistic flavor.

My dancer’s gown is the focal point, but actually the couple is the focus and everything else blurred. I had a canvas that was wide and made my version of Renoir’s work of art. Go for it folks; you can do it in shutdown! -Liz 😃

 :thankyou: NOLAN, & EVERYONE!  :)

Nolan, I thought maybe you wouldn’t like that I painted a Eurasian woman, but that was quite accidental and I ended up liking it. My husband thought I should copy the reference photo, but it was too late to change the tilt of her head and facial features!

I really enjoyed this painting, especially doing the gown.  I pictured it moving and swaying as the couple danced!  Thanks for this project!
