Morning all. Here are my next offerings!

I’d never heard of scumbling before but enjoyed the technique.

Then the barn – now I’m getting into my stride and took great delight in doing this one. This is an area that interests me. However, I felt my window was not quite right perspective wise. I may have added too much dark to it?

Another area I would like to expand on is drawing animals, so I was really happy when I got onto doing the squirrel. Enlarging with a grid was really interesting and Nolan was very good at describing how to use it. What a fantastic way to draw when you’re not confident enough to do it freehand! I think this will be my route for future drawings. All comments welcome.

As always, my photos seem lighter than the real drawing. Perhaps I need to go outside to take the photos in future!

you really are acing this course now Carole :congrats:

You can actually darken the barn window more - the darker the better as far as getting the looking in effect is concerned O0

Continuing on in one of the areas I’m really interested in pursuing, animals - what a great time I had with the horse. I enjoyed doing this except for the bridle – that was difficult. I got lost as to where certain things were. But I got there. I think!

Encouraged by this drawing and the squirrel, I decided to have a go at the tiger. When it came to the actual shading I couldn’t work out what was happening around the mouth area, so I did my own thing which I’m reasonably happy with.

As always, comments welcome.

Great job Carole :yippee: :yippee: :yippee:
With the tiger, you can still continue to add more tonal value to drawing O0
