Yesterday I painted this 9" x 12" South African scene in oils. It is from a photo I took many years ago while driving through the Southern Free State. Beautiful countryside.

I like the Bateleur Eagle, and appreciate the work gone into those feathers, but it is the Knysna Lourie that I absolutely love.  .
