I tried the charcoal and graphite pencil drawing for the first time after following Nolan's Dog Drawing lesson on Youtube

Very nice, I think you need some darker tones in this to really make it pop.

Hi Val, yes it's from a photograph.  She is my son's dog.  I have to ask him whether he would mind my posting the photo.  Is that okay? When ever she visits me she will curl up on that blanket
