If you gave the green in front a shading from dark right bottom to light left top, then the white flowers would have had a dark background to contrast against and the red flowers would have had a light background to contrast against O0

Just check that the varnish is overpaintable (is that ever a word ::) )

Thanks Nolan, yes it can be overpainted, got to wait though, it is in a shop and in the Sydney lock down.
