Always wish "i would have". I always wipe off at least as much paint as i put on. Just my habit. If I see it's not looking good, i will do it. I am hoping that at least by doing painting after painting, I will somehow? learn to get better at it.

Pipe bridge..oh, well supposed to be tanker (propane?) cars on the trestle bridge. But...............it can't be that too   I have to say, i spend rediculous hours on my worse paintings compared to my best ones.
Somehow past 8 months or so, after many! years, I'm moving away from tons of note taking, and just tired of the over analyzing. Maybe that is  part of the learning process...perhaps doing enough paintings changes how you think about it all. Learning to think of it in simpler terms is not easy.

It's ok Dennis, I knew that and I tinkered more than i should have on that issue. Put in my effort, so at least you thought it was something else..pipebridge. Any case at least it doesn't look like a big mistake

There's no mistake. As I said, I love that painting. It has atmosphere    Just reminded me of my old job. I was a Piping Engineer/Designer (mechanical) in the petrochemical field.

Update...i did fix it some more. Bit of the seperation in a couple cars. Added a bit more chromatic green to the foreground tree leaves, and i lightened the emmediate foreground alot more (sunny), which gave more distance.
I also improved the lane painting with tree. Alot more smaller branches, darker too. Some more chromatic green (recently bought the LEMON yellow which really kicks it up with Ultramarine!)
Some more BLUE in sky to bring out those oranges, and FUSSSEd with the horizon line. Always those symetrical things which get me!
