I realize I must put a tinge of the sky onto the mountains, any other advise please?

Beautiful colors. I can’t think of anything else I would change about it. That sky is amazing.

Lighten the top of the main wave, where it thins out, with some of the moon yellow. Make it the focal point  O0 :clap: :clap:

Hi Bill.  An interesting use of colour values; it gives the painting good strength of emotive qualities.  The white dots of sea spray give the composition a great sense of movement.  Perhaps add a few small vertical white lines on the upper part of the waves where the orange light shines through? 

Dennis mentions the colour of the moon; I thought it was the sun!  (shows how much I know).  "Red sky at night, shepherd's delight; Red sky in morning sailor's warning!"
