I painted this in water-soluble oils, using the wet on wet technique. I am not entirely happy with it. When I was almost finished, I accidentally put a black blob right in the middle of the foreground water which was very hard to correct given the water is in the background. Any advice on removing/obscuring such an error without further damage would be greatly appreciated.

I don't see the blob so not too obvious, but usually you would just try to add something in that spot like a bush or grass etc that will cover the oops
