Glad you are enjoying the classes. Your painting looks very good
I'm just missing the shadows in the petals. Add them and then you will see the 3d effect of the petals.

Hi guys I'm back. It looks like everything is running smooth. I see the magnolias are blooming. All the paintings look great. I have a lot to catch up with.

Thanks Lillian,
Yes we did. Our son has graduated. So they will be coming back home to Branson Mo. We got to go shark tooth hunting. Went on an air boat to the swamp area, to see the alligators. That was fun. Then went to Cocoa Beach to see the ocean. So yes it was fun. Now I have to get caught up on here. and my house.
It looks like everyone is doing great art on here. But I am glad to be back.

Nina, we lived in a little town called Sedalia, Missouri for several years. Vacationed in Branson. Now, we live in Florida.

Hey C.B.
Yes I know Sedalia, MO. In fact we are from Mo. I was rasied around the area of Cameron, Mo. My husband was born around they Richmond, Mo. area. Then we moved here to Kansas in 1978. We have talked about moving back to Missouri. But we have about 8 rentals, a plumbing business, and a farm. It would take awhile to downsize. It is good to be back. I watched the magnolia lesson. I think this will be fun to do. I have to get ready for an art show here in May. But I am not sure what to put in the art show. OH WELL IT WILL COME.

Excellent work, Gail!
You really captured the 3D effect of those petals and the flowers really pop right off the page.
