KP: Your magnolia is very nice. Just soften some of the shadows inside the flower.
Kathy: Your magnolia is beautiful. You can just look inside the flower. Your colors are great.

Welcome to PB and don't be shy to post your work. This is how we all learn, and how your will make fellow artists friends.
I am very impressed that you can do such a painting on a 2.5 x 3.5... barely bigger than a business card (2x3.5).
My WC are all 9x12" and my oil usually 12x16", few 16x20". What a difference in size!!! I like the 3 to 4 ratio.

Yes, It was.
I struggle with taking the photo, the background is gray on the post. It is a mauve/purple in reality.
