hello Nolan,

My name is Judith, i'm a new member.
I have a technical question:
The length of the video is about 2 hours .
It is hard for me to listen to a lecture that is about 2 hours ,
and i would like to listen to the lecture itself without, for instance listen to questions that are asked by some other users
because i am getting confused with an all of this data (at least for me), and i want to concentrate just in the techniques  .
Did you have any text reference tutorials of the videos just to learn the techniques ?
because  i don't want to miss a thing you say in your tutorials.

Thank you for your regard,
Judith   :)

My rendition of the Kudu Doe.  I think that I need to get some new watercolor pencils.  I have Staedtler but they have a white coating on them and they are hard to use.  They seem very hard to use even when wet.  Is this the pencil or am I doing something wrong.

Thanks Sherri

Maybe try sharpening them (get the first layer off) before giving up on them?
Staedtler should not be a bad brand, at least, I like their erasers!
May you find beauty & passion in your life,

Sherri, you still did well with the painting    Only fault is that the hair in the rump is not green but brown.

Unfortunately I can't comment on the watercolour pencils you are using as I have never used that make before.

Thanks Dennis - I will try to fix his rump!!!

Thanks Mea - he sure is cute isn't he?!?!

Ai Ke - I have tried sharpening them with sharpener and with knife!!  They are just hard to use.  I thought that Staedtler would be a good brand too.

Sherri, some of the inktense pencils are too intense and what I do is wet my brush and rub it against the pencil tip until I'm satisfied with the color. Of course, we all do our own thing..good luck with them. Staedtle is usually a very good brand.

Nice painting of the doe, please post the revision.   Myself i use faber castel and had no problem, but never tried the steadler.   Good luck.   Maybe you should return them if they are not doing what they are supposed to do.  Maybe contact the company.

Thanks Danielle - I think that I might contact the company.  They have some type of white coating on them.  It is suppose to keep them from breaking but I think it hinders their use!!

I will repost after I fix the little guys tail!!
