A very lovely painting, Jill
Just the hair in the ears need to be more delicately done
Post Santa a set of hearing aids
Bet he is not expecting presents

Thank you Sally, Mea, Natalie, Dennis and Bella for your very kind and encouraging comments.
Dennis,
I wonder if Santa needs a hearing aid. Sometimes I think he just has selective hearing.

Jill, I have hearing aids and I'm a past master at adjusting to "selective" hearing - especially in a class situation

I have just reviewed 20 pages of Kudu-mania before starting my version of the kudu doe.
I found all of your paintings delightful and look forward to an enjoyable lesson.
Hope to post mine tomorrow. I will be using a 24-set of Prismacolor Premier. No kidding, it says the parent company is Rubbermade!
I'm off to visit Dennis on the laptop screen.

I loved this lesson. I am so happy with my kudu, even if he's not perfect. Closer than I ever thought it'd be!
Details
I did not have a dark enough green for those long stems. I think I did a great job on the tuft on his back end. I am so pleased that I took the time to look at all the other great versions of this that others did. I learned from everyone of them.
Dennis - this was such a fun class. I am sold on the WC pencils and will get a better set with more colors. Thank you so much for offering this lesson.
As always, I welcome suggestions for improvement.

Very well done, Mea
I just hav a problem with the right side of the body. The lines are too straight and have flattened out the body. There should be a curling towards the bottom left to indicate the rounding of the body.

Dennis - oh, yes, I see that now. I should not have finished it late last night, but I couldn't stop myself. Will try to fix it. Thanks.
Sherri and Natalie, Thanks. I had dreams of the little guy all night. What a cute and bright-looking animal. I may frame him as my painting mascot.

Thanks, Danielle.
I'm introducing my friends to animal they had never heard of. We can learn so much through art - geography, flora, fauna, etc.
