I am already 2 lessons behind, but I've just bought a full set of watercolour pencils (especially for this lesson) and couldn't help but jumping in. Yes, this is the first time I actually did something with the pencils, I tried it before but the pencils were anything but solubile so the result was pathetic. This time, with my new Derwent set - I loved it!!(I actually went outside and did some sketches too!) Thank you, Dennis, for yet another wonderful teaching! :-*

Awesome job on the Kudu Doe, Mihaela!  You've really made her come to life.

You've really taken to the w/c pencils Mihaela.
I think they will be fantastic for doing some line & wash plein air. If the showers will let up for more than an hour I plan on taking a long walk....  :painting:

Enjoy.  O0

The coloring is beautiful!  That didn't come out right. The colors are beautiful! Better. I had to romp through the whole topic chain as usual. What fun. And you did a great job.

Very good Denise.   The w/c pencils are such fun to work with, I haven't had mine out in a while but think it may be time to dust them off again. Seeing your Kudu has put me in the frame of mind to have at them again.
You've done a great job on her ears, shows the contour nicely. Well done.  O0

Val, Natalie, Lynn and Bhavna THANKS so much!! ;D

Lynn, the pencils are fun to work with, somehow it reminds me of being a little kid again. It feels like you have a little more control with it compared to watercolour - but then again, maybe not  ::) . Anyway, hope you get to try it, it's fun... :)
Val, thanks for mentioning the ears as I spent the most time on them :P .
The w/c pencils are such fun to work with, I haven't had mine out in a while but think it may be time to dust them off again. Seeing your Kudu has put me in the frame of mind to have at them again.
Before the mood leaves, go bust out those pencils!!
