Thank you, Natalie, Nina, Dianne, Lillian and Val! :flowers:  I thought this one was pretty challenging! I hope to squeeze in some more time to paint.  I am sooo far behind and it doesn't help that I have taken every oil and watercolor class since I started and then added the drawing course! It makes it seem a little overwhelming.    You just aren't sure where to start! Do I do an oil or a watercolor? Do I work on the drawing course? Then there is my work at the woodshop! Oh yeah, we bought a house that we gutted and are in the process of remodeling!!!  :o   So...... let me see, I guess I might be able to squeeze another one in between sweating the copper for the plumbing and laying the kitchen tile!!!!! I think I'm going to go   :uglystupid2:   :help:

I sympathize C. It truly is a nuisance the way life keeps intruding into our art time.   ::)  I mean, why do you need clean clothes? You'll only get them dirty again. What...you want feeding again? Didn't I do that yesterday?   :2funny:
I am bouncing between w/c and drawing...actually all on temporary hold until I get my table back...it's out in the cockpit being varnished. Unfortunately it is sitting on top of the cockpit table....no tables!  Starting on new upholstery, making shade curtains, covers and screens for hatches.... I had more time when I had my company! Only worked 27 hours a day then!   :2funny:   :2funny:
Cheers, Val

Christina, Val.. you girls remind me of myself up until a few years ago.  I would love to be doing all those things if my back would give me permission! :2funny:   I admire the fact that you have time to paint as much as you do.  I am so "time unorganized".  Got to work on that!  So just keep painting.  I learn a lot from you girls and guys on PB!
...and I'm trying to work on finding more time to paint too!.

I had a lot of fun painting this - my very first person in watercolour!! Somewhat pleased with the result, but I still don't get it why the water had to have that akward angle.

Mihaela, PLEASE don't tell me you have done all of this work today! It takes me so frickin' long to follow through to the end of one painting. You did well with your person, and the bushes/trees are wonderful. Don't you love the result? Awkward angle? Don't dwell on it girl! :knuppel2: We do that and miss all the high points you know. I would have to go look at previous examples again to even know what the angle is supposed to be. So...Mihaela :yippee: .

Oh, no, not at all! I did this abot three weeks ago, painting along with Dennis... Well, sort of, because he paints for about an hour and a half and me about 3h. :2funny: So it's not quite painting along, but as close as I can get :)) Thank you, I like the painting too, is just that water that bugs me :idiot2:
