Will take a photo later. I'm done with the silver ware photo drawing. I fooled with the shadows (never expecting they'd take more than 5 min.) for an hour. In the photo they are pretty vague, so I kind of just used my own judgment as best I could. Still not satisfied with them entirely, but they are almost right. A few minor things that are off compositionally with the silverware adn I tried to adjust here and there, but not going to erase anything major at this point. Once I start getting tired of it, it's not going to improve much.
I'll post it in here when the photo is done.
The moment you find yourself mostly satisfied with a painting and think you'll "just quickly" do this or that, that's the moment to stop completely. Take the painting off your easel and put it aside for at least 24 hours, then reassess whether it really needs that tweak.
