my version of the clouds (both in Acrylic's) , not  so perfect will need some more practice.

Do I assume correctly that these are two different panels depicting clouds? If so, the darks in the clouds in the bottom panel are a bit too geometric. If you break up the line look, they'll appear more natural.

 hi Steve , these are two different panel depicting clouds..... i do think so!, was carried away with the technique  :2funny:  .... will do some more clouds.

I could have used the magnifiers today, Annie.  I was practicing drawing figures in landscape - fancy term for miniature people.  Was fun.

Hmmm... I will post them tonight.

cyril:  I like the t op painting of  the clouds.   They look soft and airy.  There seems to be too much contrast to the second sky. :clap: :clap:

Have started my Oil  landscape course (doing in acrylic's),will be exploring some more clouds paintings in acrylic. Keep youll  posted.

I still get the urge now and again to have another go at the acrylics....  ::) too many things on the go already!  :tongue:

your top clouds look great Cyril :yippee: :yippee: :yippee:

The bottom ones transition between light and dark too quickly, smooth that out with a mid tone colour and you will see the difference O0
