It's a pleasure  ;)  When he tries to hide away in the tree it is that little speck of white that is the give-away.  :2funny:

I 'm going to have to be honest :envy: :envy: The tonal values around the birds head....YOU got 'em on the first try.. O0 O0.....I had to go back and correct them... I never even saw the error till i put the pic in the "encourager" and hung it on it wall for a couple of hours

What a great group to be part of

I am impressed with ALL of us :flowers:  When I go back thru the form and review where we have come from and where we are now, when I see the courage shown by posting those first paintings, and I note the tremendous amount of respect, encouragement and support we give each other, I am blown away!  Here we are, scattered all across this globe having created what us "old hippies"  use to dream about, drinking cheap wine and eating "brownies" baked with.... :D

Dennis and Nolan :thankyou:

I thought I would try placing my bird in sunlight to take a picture to see if it looked like what I see when I look at it.  My Tui , like the bird, changed colors slighty.  Hope they show up better than the first.

Shortstuff, welldone    Just change the top of the head slightly. The dip by the beak is just a little bit too much. Check against the original photograph. Fix that up and you will have a  O0 painting.
