That's much better - now you have a very recognizable Tui

Karen, that is beautiful.  Mine didn't turn out so well today.  Couldn't get the colors right.

The Tui actually looks like that until it appears in the sunlight when all its brilliance suddenly shows up.

The Tui at my house stays in the shade of the trees normally so I only see it in this colour. On occasions it will sit on a branch in the sun and then it looks like the painting.

Thanks everyone for your encouraging words.  I have never seen a Tui so I wasn't sure what color to use and I missed some of the class when you said what you mixed to get the color you were using.  All the birds I have seen on the forum look great.  Denis, you are a great teacher. :thankyou:

Karen

The re work is awesome!!!  magnificent job :flowers: :flowers: :flowers:

I am so glad you showed us the "before & after"  I know seeing the "after" encourages me to take the chance and re-work a painting.  ( can you say, Grumble, grumble,"Dramatic Clouds" ? )

To accomplish what you did with out all the info is a major feat
P.S. Welcome
