And so you should be Tony.     I don't think its ever to early to broaden one's horizons. Of course knowing that when you've really put your foot in it there's two very smart people   :smart:   :smart:  to throw you a line and reel you back in to safer waters   :boat:   really helps!   ;D

Dare to dream,      dare to fly,   :flight: we'll all be your safety net.      O0
Cheers, Val

I'm getting spoilt with all these wonderful comments!  8) ;D   :thankyou: for taking time out to post such lovely replies.
Maria, I'm looking to my next project at the moment. I'm gonna apply the learned lessons I got from this painting in my next one. I'm tempted to do a portrait. It's a big one to go for but, I'm buoyed up for the challenge after my ego boosting feedback!  :painting: I'm just considering who to paint or, perhaps not a portrait but a Zoo animal instead.
I just don't know yet. I just don't want to do a painting that will date or, have some celebrity that proves to be unsavoury later! At least animals are not controversial!
I'm also intent on working at some of the lessons too.

The videoclip was a great idea, Tony. I love the final version - it's certainly not a boring painting and so beautifully done.

Tony....what a masterpiece...you did a great great job on this one. Congratulations on it! Did you do glazes on that egg? It's so incredibly smooth.      The whole painting is an excellant job. O0 O0 O0
The moment you find yourself mostly satisfied with a painting and think you'll "just quickly" do this or that, that's the moment to stop completely. Take the painting off your easel and put it aside for at least 24 hours, then reassess whether it really needs that tweak.
